APL Diary

On Thursday 23rd September, APL invites the school’s community to a welcome reception. Old as well as new parents meet and have the opportunity to speak with members of the Committee and the schools Administration. Place : Salle Iselin Lycée South Kensington

All parents, members and non-members of the Association are invited to elect the parent representatives to the Conseil d’Etablissement on Thursday 21st October 2010. Each parent has a vote. You can vote in person or by mail.

The association organises a Careers Forum for 2nde, 1ère, Terminale on Saturday 4th December 2010 from 10am to 1pm. During this event, various representatives from the business and professional sectors, as well as graduates from French, British and American Universities are invited. The Forum will be followed by conferences. 
 

Beginning of January, APL organises a “Galette des Rois”. The Committee, the class delegates and the Lycee’s Administration are invited to this event.

During January, APL, in collaboration with the Royal College of Art (RCA), organises an Art Competition. The winning pictures are exhibited at the RCA, and a prize giving ceremony is held in the presence of the Headmaster.

In Spring, within the context of its Fund-Raising Campaign, the committee organises a Gala Dinner to benefit the Friends of the Lycée and the APL Welfare Fund.

In June, APL holds its annual general meeting at the Lycée, during which the Committee presents its financial report and the activities of APL and the Welfare Fund. The election of members to the APL Committee for the forthcoming year also takes place at this meeting.

End of June, the final activity of APL is the End of Year Party for the primary schools of South Kensington, Ealing, Fulham and Wix.
